Norsechem (Sabah) Sdn. Bhd. (NSSB) was incorporated on 13 March 1980 on a joint venture between Permodalan Bumiputra Sabah (PBSB) (60 per cent), a Sabah Government agency and Hexza Corporation Berhad (HCB) (40 per cent), a public listed company on the Main Board of Bursa Malaysia.
On 6 June 1996, Innoprise Corporation Sdn. Bhd. (ICSB), the investment arm of the Group, bought 51 per cent of the company's share, thus under the new structure, PBSB is holding 29.4 per cent equity, HCB 19.6 per cent and ICSB 51 per cent.
The company manufactures formalin and different types of resin for the woodworking industries in Sabah. The factory is located at Jalan Batu Sapi, Karamunting, Sandakan.
