Cultivating the culture of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) has been the Group’s priority in ensuring a safe and healthy environment for its staff and the public. The Group’s commitment to OSH is reflected in establishing two sector-based committees: Corporate Services and Forestry. The committee conducts a series of meetings to discuss OSH standards within the organisation. The Group conducts regular inspections across its diverse divisions, units, zones, and subsidiaries to foster a robust safety and health culture. The Group’s commitment to safety and health has garnered significant acclaim through its subsidiaries, Rakyat Berjaya Sdn. Bhd. (RBJ). RBJ was awarded the National Excellence Award in Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) under the Forestry Category from 2006 to 2016. Sabah Softwoods Berhad has been recognised for its OSH achievements, earning the same accolade for three consecutive years in 2017, 2018, and 2019. This significant achievement further pushes the Group to step forward in OSH practices.
